Why should I have a Occupancy Assessment?
The Assessment helps you make the correct decisions when taking energy saving measures for your home. Without an Occupancy Assessment cannot access funding.
What is involved?
Our Advisors will produce a Green Deal Advice Report made up of two documents, an EPC and an ‘Occupancy Assessment’, which assesses how you use energy in your home. The report is done at the same time as an EPC, and typically adds about 15-30 minutes onto the assessment.
The ‘Occupancy Assessment’ or ‘Green Deal Assessment is personalised to you and assesses your own energy use.
How is all of the information used ?
By using the information collected in their reports, our Green Deal Advisor will recommend improvements that are appropriate for your property either by using Government ECO funding, or if you wish to access RHI for Biomass Boilers, or the Feed-in-Tariff for Solar PV.
